Following a successful win at the District 7 tournament, the Dare County Baseball 15U All-Stars now qualify for the Tar Heel Leagues state tournament in Boone, North Carolina, and are seeking donations to distribute amongst the 12 team members to help offset travel costs (lodging, food, gas, etc.).
The players are combined from Dare County Baseball and OBX Baseball, with only one practice prior to the district tournament, yet went undefeated.
According to an official GoFundMe for the All-Star team, this is the first time 15U has qualified for the state tournament. For many of the players, it will be their last season of rec baseball and their first time at the state tournament.
The players and their families would be appreciative of any donations to help send them to the State Championship.
