The Children & Youth Partnership for Dare County is excited to partner with the Dare County Library to present a virtual seminar, Raising Resilient Children, a Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) led by Susan Lee.
This free 90-minute seminar is for parents/caregivers of children ages birth to 12 and introduces them to the six key skills needed to promote their child’s emotional development, including:
• Recognizing and accepting feelings
• Expressing feelings appropriately
• Building a positive outlook
• Developing coping skills
• Dealing with negative feelings
• Dealing with stressful life events
