Currituck officials encourage community to report acts of vandalism following rash of damage to County property

Currituck County Government (CCG) officials took to Facebook on the morning of Thursday, July 7, to announce an on-going rash of vandalism to county property recently in Corolla.

The vandalism includes damage to signs, fencing, and bollards on walkways, as seen in the accompanying photos including within the post.

CCG notes that repairing and replacing these damages is expensive for the county and seek the community’s help to stop the acts before they get worse.

The public is encouraged to report any acts of vandalism to the Currituck County Sheriff’s Office at (252) 453-8204.
