Currituck County 4-H hosting ‘see the sharks’ field trip for kids

Currituck County 4-H is hosting a field trip to the N.C. Aquarium on Roanoke Island for children ages 5-7 on Aug. 21 from 8:30 a.m.–3 p.m.

Participants will get to explore the aquarium, watch a shark feeding and learn more about the sharks in the aquarium. The fee to attend this field trip is $20 which includes transportation, insurance, fees to enter the aquarium, and the shark program. Participants will need to wear closed-toe shoes and bring a bag lunch.

Pre-registration and workshop fees are required to secure your spot. The registration deadline is Aug. 14. Fees must be paid within five days after the online registration is completed. Space is limited so please do not delay in registering your child.
