Governor Roy Cooper will detail the state’s plans for schools to reopen this fall across North Carolina at a 3 p.m. briefing on Tuesday.
Many had expected the governor to announce school reopening directives almost two weeks ago, but Cooper said on July 1 he was not ready to do that yet. North Carolina students haven’t been to school in-person since mid-March.
Cooper’s executive order of Phase 2 restrictions is scheduled to expire on Friday.
The governor and other state officials will provide the COVID-19 update from the Emergency Operations Center in Raleigh. You watch the briefing live in the player below, or listen on The All News Talk 92.3 WZPR.
