Cooperative Extension’s winter indoor plant sale happening January 26

(N.C. Cooperative Extension)

Houseplants add a splash of color to your home, act as an instant mood booster, and do wonders for your overall well-being. Owning houseplants can reduce psychological and physiological stress, aid concentration, and increase productivity. Plus, houseplants act like natural air purifiers, helping clean indoor air by reducing toxins.

The N.C. Cooperative Extension Currituck County Master Gardener VolunteersSM invite you to our 2024 winter indoor plant sale. The plant sale will take place in the greenhouse located behind the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center located at 120 Community Way in Barco on Friday, January 26, from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. and Saturday, January 27, from 10:00 to 2:00 pm.

Plants for sale will include succulents, indoor tropical plants, and hypertufa arrangements. All proceeds will go towards the enhancement of the demonstration gardens, educational programs, and outreach activities of the Currituck Master Gardener program. Gardening experts will also be on hand to provide free planting advice, care, and any additional customer questions.
