Connie Carnes Kelly, 62, of Richmond, Virginia passed away at her home in Avon, North Carolina on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Connie was born on April 26, 1959 in Richmond, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her father, David Felton Carnes (Delores).
She is survived by her mother Lois Payne Archer (Sammy) of Richmond, VA, companion and soulmate Richard Collins of Avon, NC; three daughters, Thena Michelle Smith (Randall); Amanda Dee Palmore; Jana Marie Daniel (Kyle), step-son, Gregory Collins, five grandchildren, Kyla Palmore, Dylan Palmore, Austin Daniel, Trista Davis and Allie Smith, sister Donna Drake (Gerald) and nephew David Drake.
Connie enjoyed collecting sharks’ teeth, drawing, painting, crocheting, gardening and numerous other crafts.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date in Chesterfield, VA.
