Connie Brown Hofler Sanders, 70, of 690 Blount Road, Elizabeth City, NC died Friday, June 25, 2021, at her residence.
She was born January 11, 1951, in Sunbury, NC to the late Cooper Hofler and Lois Brown Hofler and was the wife of Grover Lee Sanders, Jr. of the residence.
She was a medical assistant at Currituck Internal Medicine for forty-two years having worked for forty-eight years in the medical field. She was a member of Pearl Street Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a bonus daughter, Tracey Winslow and daughters, Allison Sanders and Ashley Swayne; three sisters, Linda Algood, Barbara Thomas, Beverly Windley; and two grandchildren, Jonathan Winslow and Riley Swayne.
A funeral service will be held Monday, June 28, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. at Twiford Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Tom Hall officiating. Burial will be in New Hollywood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home and at other times at the residence.
