Community foundations partner to bring internet to 200 Currituck County students

The Outer Banks Community Foundation and the Currituck-Dare Community Foundation have partnered to connect students to remote learning in Currituck County.

Students who do not have internet access in their homes are eligible for assistance thanks to donor-advised funds supporting a $9,000 grant that will help as many as 200 students, with high school students being a top priority.

Parents and students who have identified a need for internet access with their school should email Currituck County Schools Assistant Superintendent Renee Dowdy at rdowdy@currituck.k12.nc.us for more information.
