Clarence Eugene Rogerson, Jr., age 61, of Brite Ave., Elizabeth City, NC died Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at his home.
Born in Pasquotank County, NC on June 29, 1959 to Mildred Hall Rogerson and the late Clarence Eugene “Podner” Rogerson, Sr., he was the husband of Doris Ralph Rogerson for forty plus years. Most recently working as a delivery driver for Coastal Beverage Company, he was previously employed at Coca Cola Bottling Co. of Elizabeth City for twenty-seven years. A member of Forest Park Baptist Church, he was the most loving husband to his childhood sweetheart, a loving son, father and grandnannie to his beautiful granddaughters, Charlotte Rose and Ella Claire. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Christina (Michael) Kopp of Wilson, NC ; two sisters, Peggy Cannon (David) and Wanda Sanders, all of Camden, NC; and two grandchildren, Charlotte Rose Kopp and Ella Claire Kopp.
The family will receive friends at 404 Brite Ave., Elizabeth City, NC on Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be given to the college fund of Charlotte Rose Kopp and Ella Claire Kopp, c/o Christina Kopp, 3601 Inkberry Circle, Wilson, NC 27896.
