Children and Youth Partnership for Dare County will offer its next contactless Diaper Pick-Up on Tuesday, February 9 and Wednesday, Feb. 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Center for CYP in Manteo.
The second distribution event will be a diaper drive-thru, held on Wednesday, February 24 from 12 to 5 pm at Kitty Hawk Baptist Church, located at 3946 N. Croatan Highway in Kitty Hawk.
At this event, Dare County families will be able to receive free diapers to help with their diapering needs. While supplies last, diaper sizes available are newborn to size six, with a limit of two packs of diapers per family.
To receive their diapers at the Feb. 9 and 10 events, families will arrive at the Center for CYP, located at 534 Ananias Dare Street in Manteo, then call the CYP office at 252-441-0614 to let them know their size needs, and will remain in their vehicles.
A CYP staff member will bring out the needed diapers to a table, and return to the office. Families can then get out of their vehicles to get their diapers from the table.
The Feb. 24 event will be drive-thru style in the church parking lot.
