Betty L. Robinson

Betty L. Robinson, 71, of Stumpy Point, NC went to be with her Lord and Savior after a brief illness at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center on January 15, 2022.

Betty was born July 7, 1950, to the late Margaret and Ferdinand Murdzak in Pittsburgh, PN. She was also preceded in death by her son, Eric Lawrence; and her father-in-law, Marion Robinson.

Surviving is her husband, Ken Robinson; son, Craig Lawrence (Bobbisue); grandchildren, Marley, Chase, and Madison; sister, Peggy Cooper (Dale); niece, Heather (Junior); nephew, Douglas Cooper (Heather); and mother-in-law, Anniece Robinson.

Betty graduated from West Mifflin High School. She worked at Westinghouse for 17 years, C. Lloyd Johnson for 10 years, Revco, and was a bus driver in Virginia Beach.

Betty centered her life around faith, family, and friends. She was very involved in her community and in her church, Shiloh United Methodist Church. If she was in town, she was in church. Betty also loved her Steelers. There was always a football game on the tv. She enjoyed sitting on the pier in the backyard and liked to go fishing. But most of all, she loved to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoyed going to Bryson City with her family. She was happiest when she was with her grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at Shiloh United Methodist Church at a later date.
