Albemarle Regional Health Services and its county partners have announced the schedule for drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination clinics for this week.
Vaccine clinics will have set hours and set vaccine doses available, and will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
While we are still targeting groups one and two, we are moving to priority group three, essential workers, per the Governor’s directive. The primary focus will be on childcare workers and teachers but other essential workers will also be able to receive the vaccine.
THE CURRENT PRIORITY GROUPS ARE:
- HEALTHCARE WORKERS (Group 1)
- INDIVIDUALS 65 and OLDER (Group 2)
- ESSENTIAL WORKERS (Group 3) with a primary focus on CHILDCARE PROVIDERS AND TEACHERS
We are asking that only individuals who live in the ARHS region AND meet these priority groups attend first dose clinics. Individuals who do not meet this requirement will be asked to leave and instructed to contact their local health department for vaccine information.
Please help us meet the needs of our community by adhering to this guidance and supporting our Public Health and Public Safety workforce as they work to vaccinate our communities.
If you received your first dose at one of our clinics, regardless of residence status, you will be able to receive your second dose as long as you have your vaccine card with you.
Please do not arrive early at sites. If you arrive prior to 8:30 am you may be asked to leave by law enforcement.
Second dose clinics are scheduled based on the first dose clinics offered. Additional clinics will be offered in the coming weeks. Based on CDC Guidance, there is no maximum interval between the first and second dose.
Tuesday, February 23
Pasquotank County, second dose Pfizer clinic, Elizabeth City Aviation Commerce Park, 9 to 11 a.m. This clinic is only for those who received their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine hosted by ARHS on January 6 or 7. You will need to bring the vaccine card you received with your first dose with you to this clinic.
Wednesday, February 24
Corolla, second Moderna dose clinic, Whalehead Club, time TBA This clinic is only for those who received their first dose of the Moderna vaccine on January 27, at this specific location. Please bring the vaccine card you received at the first dose clinic.
Chowan County, first and second dose clinic, American Legion Fairgrounds in Edenton, 9-11:30 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. There will be 200 first doses available at this clinic in addition to second doses. The second dose clinic is open to individuals who received their first dose of the Moderna vaccine on or before Friday, January 27.
Bertie County, second dose Moderna clinic, Bertie County High School in Windsor, 9-11:30 a.m. and 1-4 p.m.
Camden County, second dose Monderna clinic, Camden Intermediate School in Camden, 9-11:30 a.m. and 1-4 p.m.
Pasquotank County, second dose Moderna clinic, Elizabeth City Aviation Commerce Park, 9-11:30 a.m. and 1-4 p.m.
Perquimans County, first dose clinic, Perquimans Recreation Center in Hertford, 9-11:30 a.m. or until supplies are
depleted.
Thursday, February 25
Bertie County, first dose clinic, Bertie County High School, 9-11:30 a.m. or supplies are depleted.
Camden County, first dose clinic, Camden County Library in Belcross, 9-11:30 a.m. or supplies are depleted.
Currituck County, Currituck Community Park/YMCA in Maple, 9-11:30 a.m. or until supplies are depleted.
Gates County, Gates County Health in Gates, 9-11:30 a.m. or until supplies are depleted.
Hertford County, Ahoskie Creek Amphitheater in Ahoskie, 9-11:30 a.m. and 1-4 p.m.
Pasquotank County, Elizabeth City Aviation Commerce Park, 9-11:30 a.m. and 1-4 p.m.
