Ann Irene Porvaznik Wilson, age 94, of Kill Devil Hills, NC died October 4, 2020 at Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation.
Born in Duquesne, PA on September 8, 1926 to the late Michael Porvaznik and Stella Yocas Porvaznik, she was the widow of Matthew L. Wilson. She worked in the Dare County Food Public Schools food service until her retirement. Ann attended Holy Redeemer by the Sea Catholic Church in Kitty Hawk, NC and was a member of Ladies by the Sea.
She is survived by a sister, Mary L. Chance of Kill Devil Hills, NC; nieces, Hannah L. Lynn, Lacey M. Chance, and Niville M. Chance; and nephews, Stanley N. Chance, Mark D. Chance, and Thomas J. Chance. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Sylvester Porvaznik and sister-in-law, Mary Jo Porvaznik of Point Harbor; her brother-in-law, Stanley E. Chance, Jr. of Kills Devil Hills, NC; and her nephew, Michael Porvaznik.
