Andrew Jackson Heath, 71, of 142 Beech Neck Road, Shiloh, NC died Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at his residence.
He was born March 15, 1949 in Old Trapp, NC to the late Elbert Jabe “Perk” Heath and Louie Pierce Heath and was the husband of Carolyn Hobbs Heath for forty-nine years. He was a member of Sanctified Holiness Church, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, and retired from civil service at the U.S.C.G. Aviation Logistics Center.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Andy Heath and Tony Heath both of Shiloh, NC; two sisters, Patricia Heath and Christine Dobie both of Old Trapp, NC; and a brother, Carl Heath (Betty) of Camden, NC. He was pre-deceased by a son, Matthew Aaron Heath; and a sister, Ramona Litchfield.
A funeral service will be held at Twiford Memorial Chapel on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Joe Hashemi and the Rev. Terry Simons officiating. Burial with military honors will be held in West Lawn Cemetery. Twiford Funeral Home, Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC is serving the Heath family.
