Albemarle Regional Health Services has announced the schedule for upcoming COVID-19 vaccine clinics in the eight-county service territory that includes Currituck, Camden, Pasquotank, Perquimans, Chowan, Gates, Hertford and Bertie counties.
“Our vaccine campaign continues to make great strides in vaccinating our community members, supplies are catching up to demand across the region and we look forward to moving into phases 4 and 5 over the coming weeks,” said ARHS Health Director, R. Battle Betts, Jr.
“We anticipate supply will continue to expand across the state and nation, and the state will adjust phases accordingly. We look forward to serving all ARHS residents 18 and older who want the vaccine. Please continue to help your neighbors, friends, and family know when we have upcoming vaccine clinics. Not everyone has access to the internet or news media and word of mouth is still one of the best tools we have in sharing information with our community. If you or someone you know is interested in the vaccine, regardless of what priority group you fall in, please fill out the survey link below. This information will allow us to contact you when vaccine clinics are available. The COVID-19 vaccines are tested, safe, and effective and this vaccination campaign is crucial as we seek to end this pandemic and get back to the people and places we love.”
ARHS is starting a wait list for all individuals in our eight-county region who still need their COVID-19 vaccine. If you or someone you know still needs to receive your vaccine please take a moment to fill out your contact information in the link provided so we can contact you when it is your turn to receive the vaccine.

First Dose PRIORITY GROUPS ARE:
- HEALTHCARE WORKERS (Group 1)
- INDIVIDUALS 65 and OLDER (Group 2)
- ESSENTIAL WORKERS (Group 3)
We are asking that only individuals who live in the ARHS region AND meet these priority groups attend first dose clinics. Individuals who do not meet this requirement will be asked to leave and instructed to contact their local health department for vaccine information. Please help us meet the needs of our community by adhering to this guidance and supporting our Public Health and Public Safety workforce as they work to vaccinate our communities.
If you received your first dose at one of our clinics, regardless of residence status, you will be able to receive your second
dose as long as you have your vaccine card with you.
Please do not arrive early at sites. If you arrive prior to 8:30 am you may be asked to leave by law enforcement.
Second dose clinics are scheduled based on the first dose clinics offered. Additional clinics will be offered in the coming
weeks. Based on CDC Guidance, there is no maximum interval between the first and second dose.
If you received your first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine with another provider such as Walgreens or CVS, you will need to
return to that same facility for your second dose.
At second dose only clinics, first dose vaccinations will not be provided.
Please note below that we are offering some clinics for both first and second doses. Second dose clinics are open to individuals who received their first dose of the Moderna vaccine on or before Friday, February 12.
Please plan to attend the clinic in the county where you received your first dose. You will need to bring the vaccine card you received with your first dose with you to this clinic.
If you do not have your card, you may experience additional delays, or may be turned away and rescheduled because we have to verify your first dose for your safety.
