The 12th annual Walk Against Addiction has been scheduled for Saturday, September 25 at First Flight High School in Kill Devil Hills.
There will be a 5k sponsored by OBX Running Company beginning at 8:00 a.m. followed by the 12th annual one-mile walk on the First Flight schools campuses.
Vendor set up and sign-ins begin at 9 a.m. Coffee offered by Starbucks and there will be music by the students from Calvino Studios.
Registration is $10 for a tote bag. Tank tops and t-shirts available for $20.
Vendors from the recovery field and alternatives to substance abuse will be available, and featured speakers will be Mike Jones from Room at the Inn, Jessica Urbano and Wes Stepp.
